My professional experience designing, enlarging and painting large images on walls began in 1990; it arose while chalking the pavement with enlargements of old master’s images at Italian Street Painting festivals. Amazed viewers often requested I paint their walls. Which led to my improving my painterly skills with a brush and fast drying paint that becomes instantly stable, to more closely march my abilities with smudged rubbed-in chalk.

Chalk pastels are infinitely transient are a lot more forgiving for smoothly blended transitions than quick drying acrylic paint which has a very short “open” time and dries in about ten minutes or less.

My favorite image for walls is scenes of nature for the way in transforms an experience of being outside while in a building.
